Question about Healey Ebay Hot Rod

I saw this on ebay:

my question is simple... when you close the bonnet
everything looks like it fits under the bonnet... but
with the bonnet up the crossflow stacks stick up a
good 6 inches above the bonnet line... how is this
possible and is this really a healey I want to buy?
