I use a 1/4 drive screwdriver with the approprate size socket to push them on, usually the script will need a little bending to lay flat. It is made of pot metal and can be bent to the curvature of the boot lid. Use care and Ive found once the script is bent properly the holes usually will accept the studs better. This is especially true of a newly painted surface as you wont be putting unwanted pressure causing paint to blister around sharp edges. Carroll Phillips |
