seal or not seal

when i restored my bj8 i laid a fine layer of fibreglass inside the well,
painted and undercoated it.  i wash it thorougly every time i was the car. it
is overkill here in vegas, but i was living in vancouver, wa when i did the
car and i was looking to do everything to prevent any rust.  healeymanjim
