So I couldn't get my clutch to work...now I have the tranny out. I have yet to pull the pressure plate. No visible probs thus far. The black pressure plate has yellow springs and looks in good condition. The throw out bearing looks good, tight, etc. Does anyone know how much carbon (or what ever substance) the bearing should have? It looks good yet both surfaces are very shiny, mirror like. What problems should I look for if I could not get the clutch to disengage? Cheers, Scott Mashed BN7 |
