John--

S & S was on the mainland side of Lake Worth (Intracoastal Waterway) just to
the north of Royal Palm Avenue (Route 704) in WPB. When driving north it was
on the left side of the road that goes along the water on an S-shaped bend.
It was, I believe a two-story CBS building with an overhang under which the
new cars were parked. Having grown up in Miami, I used to drive my Healey (a
BN7) up there as a sort of "pilgrimage" every so often.

I did not go by the site when I went to interview Bussey as his office is
west of I-95 but I seem to recall noticing some years back that the building
was
no longer there--probably replaced by a condo tower. Bussey, BTW, is in the
phone book and he really is a nice man--during the interview he got a bit
misty-eyed a few times. He'd probably enjoy meeting you and seeing your car
and he
has a wealth of information and some great old photos, several of which he
loaned me for the article.

I'm still in Miami and will be here for another few weeks before returning to
Maryland--let me know if your travels will bring you down this way as I'd
love to hook up.

Best--Michael
