Fred,
IF your crank and cam shafts are correctly linked, and IF your distributor
has NOT been disturbed (or you KNOW it to have been PROPERLY reinstalled), it
is
a matter of about five minutes work (remember how easy it is to divide a
circle into six parts?) to make up a thin cardboard ring to set on top of the
distributor body, after which you can then adjust both valves for whichever
cylinder at which the rotor is pointing. This is not critical, as you are well
and
truly on the heel of both cam lobes at that time.
