My fender beads are in pretty good shape, but the metal pieces that hang off them and are bent along the fenders are rusted. I want to clean them up, and thought again about pulling them out and zinc plating them. 1. can they be removed without damaging the bead? 2. will the zinc plating stay in place when I bend them? What have others done? Thanks Ryan BJ7 |
