Jim the only real issue I've had with my 10-1 motor is that occasionally it
runs on after I shut it down on 93 octane gas... but even the stock motor
did that so it's not uncommon...( Geoff mentions gas quality in his book )
What I really do is run a gallon or two of 100 low lead from the airport
with my regular tank of 93 octane.... and frankly I don't do this more then
once every couple of tanks... the intent is to give the valves a bit of
lead.
If I constantly ran a leaded fuel I could add a bit more timing to it and
have some increased performance.... but shoot... the car is fine the way it
is...
Keith ( I'm going off for a couple of days if you have more questions write
me back on Monday...K )
