Make sure you have the correct driver for your dongle.  It's possible 
you ended up with one of the early versions that uses the Rainbow 
Sentinel software driver not found on the Geez website. 
ftp://anonftp.rainbow.com/support/SSD5411-32bit.exe has it.  Does your 
serial number start with GZ16B?
