Sorry for the strictly Palm question, but this is as close to a Palm list
as I have right now, and seeing as how there should be several on this
list with a Palm, maybe someone can help me.
We record our GEEZ data onto a Palm M100, OS v. 3.5.1. The time before
last when I replaced the batteries, the machine completely reset itself.
I had to reinstall all my applications, including all the GEEZ apps and my
productivity applications like Mine Sweeper and Backgammon. :-)
I didn't pay a lot of attention to things when I swapped the batteries,
but noted the machine was on when I turned it over after installing the
new batteries. I _thought_ the machine was off when I pulled the old
batteries, but was not certain.
I just swapped the batteries today, the SAME thing happened. This time,
though, I KNOW the machine was off when I pulled the old batteries, and I
installed the new ones within the 1 minute window you are supposed to
have. Reinstalling all the software, and ANYTHING I might have entered
into the machine at each battery replacement would significantly limit the
usefullness of this machine, and hence, the GEEZ. Does anyone have any
idea what is happening?
I had not gotten to the point where I had received a low battery warning.
I was probably at about 20% battery life left (I replace the batteries
early when we are going to have an event and the battery level is less
than 1/2). Thank you for any input.
