Excellent suggestion, Arthur, and one that I don't think is properly
addressed in the help pages. However, I think that this could benefit
from a bit of tweaking, as it works perfectly when you are recording
straight to a laptop (as it was designed originally), but not so well
when you are downloading from a Palm. I'll put that on the "to do"
list.
Also, I like Arthur's plan on checking out the effects of different
tranny ratios, especially in Mod cars where you can change that stuff.
While you can't see how the different ratios would have altered your
performance on track, per se, you can see what rpms you would have been
at if you had different ratios. If you see enough similar trends over
different events, you might be better informed for making a gearing
change. I guess this is also true in SP (where you would be able to
compare the effects of different rear ratios) and P, too.
