Always fun, especially with a fairly simple track with lots of passing =
opportunities. Might be a little nerve-wracking for the "leaders=E2=80=9D.=
I ran at Limerock during the All Aluminum Tour in 2007. The track is =
fairly simple, as Peter Krause=E2=80=99s video shows, but that makes it =
technical. The surrounding towns are lovely. I got to replace the clutch =
in Peyote during the Sunday quiet time aided by my brothers=E2=80=94Bob =
and David=E2=80=94with some wonderful parts from J.R. Mitchell of GMT =
racing and some of the racers. It was a great experience and Peyote did =
pretty well at the track. My brother David passed away soon after=E2=80=94=
much too soon. He had a heart attack while rescuing a tourist who had =
grounded a rented sailboat. So the memory, and his comments in the blog =
post I did about it, are particularly important to me. =

ll be thinking of you all. It=E2=80=99s a very cool track and I count it =
as one of the places that got me interested in racing in the first =
place. I went there in a friend=E2=80=99s TR3 to watch a race back in =
the early =E2=80=9860s. It was a simpler spot then=E2=80=94just a race =
track with nothing but grass around it. It was the first car race I=E2=80=99=
d ever been to. It seemed impossibly out of reach, but I wanted to be =
