you angle the long horizontal rods toward each other.
Tweak them so they=E2=80=99re inline with each other.
Now you start your already warmed up car.
you can now balance your carbs by adjusting them so they=E2=80=99re rising e=
qually.
works on dual or triple carb set ups.
Handy if you don=E2=80=99t want to remove filters.
Also helps diagnose sticking carbs (w/o removing filters) as you can readily=
