my 1961 Mini for 25 years. My two most fun tracks to race Tweety Bird acros=
s the US and once at Mosport are Grattan and Lime Rock Park. Lime Rock being=
the last two years I raced and what a hoot in a small car. Yes you do get w=
heel spin cresting the big hill then stay on it and see how much nerve you h=
ave for the down hill curve to the Sam Posey Straight.</font></div><div dir=3D=

tant attention. Great altitude changes - the crest of the back hill is=

8 laps - a really good time for me is 1:06, though I know Henry and Bob are f=
aster. Track record, I think, is an IMSA GTP car at 43.1 seconds. Anyw=

/traded places lap after lap with a 260 Cobra, sometimes there=E2=80=99s a p=
reservation class - it=E2=80=99s amazing to see a driver in a prewar car goi=
ng down the front straight at real speed, with one hand outside the car work=
ing the fuel pump. Great place to spectate and lots of beautiful cars t=

will be run at the Lime Rock Historic Festival, at Lime Rock Park, in the s=
cenic northwest hills of Connecticut. The Historic Festival is one of the pr=
emier East Coast vintage racing events, and takes place over the Labor Day w=
eekend. Skip Barber asked us "When are you guys going to bring your Kastner C=

27777519">The event is put on by the track, and is co-sanctioned by Vintage R=
acer Group (VRG) and VSCCA. Track owner Skip Barber calls the shots, and his=
right-hand man through the whole process is the VRG event chair Paul King. P=
aul is also a FOT member, those of you from the east should remember his yel=
low GT6 running events over the past 20 years or so. I have been working clo=
sely with Paul on VRG's Driver Development program for several years now, an=
d we realized this aligning of the stars was too perfect to pass up. Paul an=
d I will co-chair the event with Paul managing the track side of the house, a=
nd I will manage the FOT side, with help from Curt Johnston and the Alexande=
