hand at the threaded portion at Watkins Glen race two weeks ago, I was work=

e first thing I encountered was the top Bayonet mount is broken off on one s=
ide so only one side is engaging. Anyone have a replacement for those, espec=

hed up and I looked under my car, only to see a puddle growing under it from=
where it was leaking somewhere on the tail piece of the transmission.  =

eems to be coming out of the speedometer cable mounting hole. With a race ca=
r not having a speedometer I=E2=80=99m wondering was there a plug there? Tha=
t has now vacated the premises. I can=E2=80=99t imagine it was run open like=
that. Trying to get this ready for HRG Thompson this Friday if I can.=

omplement my GT6. In the Triumph family, I=E2=80=99m interested in a T=
R6. Could be vintage prepared, could be an SCCA production class car. I=
deally I=E2=80=99d like something that is =E2=80=9Crace ready=E2=80=9D or so=
mething
reasonably close, recognizing of course that all race cars continually need=
work. I guess what I=E2=80=99m saying is I=E2=80=99m not looking for a tota=
l project or an incomplete car. Blown engines, etc are fine.<br>
<br>
Heresy, but I=E2=80=99d also be interested in a non-Triumph race car- sports=
racer, anything European, Datsuns, no formula fords.<br>
I intend to run vintage on the East Coast, but there are a couple of events,=
and also clubs (HSR) where the rules allow a wider range than the tradition=
al pre-1972 prep level.<br>
Plz let me know if you have something or know of someone who does.<br>
