Aside from gluing the gasket to the cover, as Phil notes, I have been usin=

it is still easy to remove.=C2=A0 This is with a cork gasket, not silicone=

Just glue the gasket to the cover and you=E2=80=99ll be good to go. Easy o=

=EF=BB=BFIn the attempt to get my Spitfire back on the road this year, I ch=
anged the oil and filter. As I was pouring oil in, I noticed that oil was p=
ouring out at the back of the valve cover. Since I have an alloy valve cove=
r, I ordered a silicon gasket.
Any recommendations as to a sealant to keep the oil inside the valve cover?=
Or is that gasket going to be enough?=C2=A0
