not sure where the title Purple People Eater comes from but when I grew up=
in Fort Worth Overseas Motors had the Purple People Eater Mini Cooper and =
it was a National Championshop SCCA car.. there may have been two of them b=
ut my friend Robert Hoemke in Abilene has them restored and races them occa=

Hello Group, just an update from a couple of weekends back=C2=A0 at Road At=
lanta for the Mitty=C2=A0 . My brother Shawn Brazelton and I were able to g=
et the # 74=C2=A0 Purple People Eater back on the track .=C2=A0 She started=
a little slow , but that was ok not having run since 2012. So=C2=A0 after =
a little sorting out she came back to life.=C2=A0 We finished=C2=A04th in S=
aturday's sprint race and Third in Sunday's Race having some fun with a cou=
ple of MGB's.=C2=A0 The weather was off and on rain but all of our races we=
re in the dry.=C2=A0 All and all it was a good weekend.Thank you to all of =
the help that everyone offered up with advice on the Radiator and the Steer=
ing Wheel quick release.=C2=A0 Both issues were resolved successfully.=C2=
=A0 Also Special thanks to Tony Drews fot the advice and help that He offer=
ed up.=C2=A0=C2=A0
Now back to the Slagle TR 8 to try and finish it up for the Kasner Cup.=C2=
