I could be wrong here, but I have an early TR3 axle with the wire wheel hubs=
integral to the hub (as opposed to the bolt-on adapters). Those hubs appear=
to have a finer thread than the later bolt-on adapters. The thread change w=
as concurrent with the switch from integral to bolt-on.
