Since I=E2=80=99m preparing to sell Peyote I=E2=80=99ve been digging =
though the old website I built for it (peyote race.com) and my personal =
blog. In the process I found this post that I wrote just prior to the =
=E2=80=9CAll Aluminum Tour" in 2007. I was a bit surprised how detailed =
and potentially useful it is. In fact, I wish I=E2=80=99d read it (and =
shared it) before the race at PIR. Even though I=E2=80=99ve been on =
track at PIR countless times, it=E2=80=99s been long enough that I =
wasn=E2=80=99t managing some of the turns as well as I should have. I =
was two seconds down from my personal record with Peyote all weekend. =
PIR is a technical track, because it=E2=80=99s easy to learn how to get =
around on it fairly fast, which makes extracting a few seconds a study =
in details rather than simply driving mechanically. Anyway, here=E2=80=99s=
the article, there=E2=80=99s a detailed analysis of PIR that any of you =
folks that attended the Kastner Cup will probably find familiar. Too =
late for the Kastner Cup, but you might find it useful.
