Total Seal has worked well for me in an Acura Integra (ITA) and HP 948 Sprite.
The critical factor is piston speed. Total Seal rings are thinner than most
others (2 rings per land) and so are more prone to fluttering at high piston
speeds. At street-range revs this should not be an issue in the TR6.

All set - TNX everyone.
Follow-up: Is Total Seal a good solution for a street engine? I have zero
experience with those.

Hi,
I built an engine for a club member over the winter and the Grants rings failed
during break-in.
I'm looking for a set of Hastings or (maybe) Deves rings for TR6 with .030 over
pistons.
The vendors that I checked list the Hastings parts as back-order.
I gotta get this freekin car out of my garage!!!
