Hi Paul.=C2=A0 That was my car at one time.=C2=A0 I bought it from Jerry P=
ierce (Anderson, IN) shortly before he died way too young.=C2=A0 It was a r=
ight hand drive car at that time.=C2=A0 Jerry also had a 1962 TR-4 (CT-311)=
, which he bought new and drove it to the races.=C2=A0 He had a picture of =
the car racing at Watkins Glen in the early 60's.=C2=A0 He wanted to go fas=
ter, so he bought a "prepared" race car and campaigned it through the 70's.=
=C2=A0 I raced against him a number of times at IRP, from 1974 on.=C2=A0 Af=
ter I crashed my car at The Runoffs in 1993, Jerry contacted me to see if I=
would be interested in buying both of his cars and lots of parts.=C2=A0 He=
was planning his estate (sadly).=C2=A0 He had last raced the 37 car someti=
me in the late 70's, brought the car home after the race and parked it in h=
is basement.=C2=A0 That's where it sat, until I purchased it in 1994.
I was in the process of rebuilding my race car, and his car was just too or=
iginal to mess it up according to SCCA rules at the time.=C2=A0 So, I went =
through it mechanically, left the number 37 on it and sold it to Chip Bond.=
=C2=A0 The rest, I guess is known history to this group.=C2=A0 The ad broug=
ht back some fond memories.=C2=A0 Thanks.
