I=E2=80=99d add that when he roughed it up for paint, he could have given it=
a second round of JB Weld without the fibers. A thin coat, as if applying B=
ondo, filling in divots, etc. When that dries, then he could sand it withou=
t damaging fibers, and the result would be a sexier finish that would be eas=
ier to keep clean.
