i have a special con-rod re-sizing machine, its not a hone, but a grinder,
so we can get them perfect. Most production rods are honed and thats good
enough for most applications, but not if you are chasing perfection. Also,
hand honing on a machine designed for general applications like brake
cylinders etc , can be a disaster as they can looks good, but actually be
barrel shaped
