Agree TRF is trying to keep the good going. They have always been pre=
tty good for my TR4A, TR250 parts and what they have for my several Spitfire=
s. =20
Parts availability the past year or two is not what it was from TRF. T=
RF quality is generally better than Moss, although Moss, BPNW and others do s=
ell TRF sourced parts...it=E2=80=99s all a mixed bag. Check & verify what t=
hey (all of the suppliers) have and that it meets your needs/standards. =20
I miss Uncle Dave, agree he never was unable to find an answer to quest=
ions and usually had a viable work around, if something was unavailable.
Charles was dreamer and a great marketing person! He did a lot for our=
cars/hobby. =20
I looked at CIP and it wasn=E2=80=99t for me, nor the TRF car club, no=
r the motoring and avaiation society.=20
For what the investors facilitated in TRF making new parts & keeping o=
thers available - I personally thank you! =20
Never the less, The Investors should not have found themselves in a si=
tuation where there was no life insurance policy as was stated by Charles/TR=
F - sad, frustrating, maddening for sure.
