I found Bring a Trailer to be an excellent site. I think they did a great
write up given the few facts I supplied. They were helpful and in pretty
much constant contact. There were 15000 views (!) with 276 watchers and 19
bids. Don't think I would have gotten that much visibility anywhere else.
The buyer is in Spokane and has raced in the same sanctioning bodies as me
in the past. I did not know him but did know his Jaegermeister 3 liter BMW.
The reserve was low in my opinion, but they justified it and stuck to it.
Fortunately it sold for more than 5000 over reserve. That bid came in the
last ten minutes. Most all the bidding occured in the last hour. I like
that it was a one week auction.
I would recommend them to anyone wanting to sell a race car.
