That car was scrapped 45 years ago. No records exist other than the BMHT
info from my engine. I also have an original VIN plate for a car that was
shipped to Europe. If I used that, that would be fraud. I just realized I
will contact the BT 7 registry to reunite car and plate. So they gave the
original one.

Suppose someone gets the idea if restoring that very car that your engine
came out of. Then you would have two cars with the same vin. One of them
would be a fake, and it would be your car!
