It has been a great event so far. 37 Triumphs took to the track yesterday.
There were no incidents and attrition was very low. Qualifying for the Kastner
Cup yielded the following as the top 10 grid positions:
Sam Halkias
Allen Washatko
Bob Lang
Jason Ostrowski
Tony Drews
Ken Knight
Jeff Snook
Sean Alexander
Steve Meyers
Mike Moore
A group photo of the entire field was taken and afterwards Beady Eye racing
hosted their traditional wine and cheese gathering in the FOT Paddock. At the
reception Kas was presented with his induction trophy for the British Sports
Car Hall of Fame. Congrats to Kas!
Also, Jim Dolan made the announcement that the 2018 Kastner Cup will be hosted
as part of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. More details will follow.
The Kastner Cup takes the green flag at 5:20 Central Time today. Good luck to
all the drivers!!
