Rob,
Have you checked your engine ground strap? A poor connection here will make the
electricity look for another way to complete the circuit under heavy loads
(like starting) and the oil gage wire often is the next best path. Results of
this are never desired!

I did have the Battery Cable split to the Kill Switch. ?The Diode and Power Tap
were connected per the Flaming River Instructions. ?What I had failed to do was

Kas, just want to avoid any Electrical Equipment failures this season. ?Fried
wire has me puzzled.
