I checked the weights of the 4 TR3 connecting rods that I have. Three =
are 947 grams and the fourth is 946 grams. Pretty amazing for =
1950=E2=80=99s era manufacturing technology!! This is with the bolts, =
no big end bearings installed and the small end bushing installed.

All the rods have the same numbers on the sides:

201448 13339Z7 on one side and=20
=20
EN167 on the other side. I think from previous posts, this is the type =
of steel in European terms.

I checked a set of TR4 rods and they have the same markings. Apparently =
both engines used the same conn rods.
