I use my Smart Phone and run my GoPro from an app, works pretty good and =
you can preview and review your recordings. And yes I have the same =
situation with the 12 minutes (I thought mine was 14 minutes) and I have =
no problem with it.

Yup, mine is the same way. I found it awkward but got over it. My =
displeasure is with the remote control. The battery only last 20 to 25 =
minutes and when it dies it shuts the camera off. I talked to the good =
folks at GoPro and they suggested I buy one of their auxiliary batteries =
and hook it up to the remote using the charging cord. I tried to =
explain that the remote was mounted to the dash in a race car and that =
was not the best of ideas and it did not compute on their end. Any =
ideas on making the remote battery last longer?

perfectly normal. The GoPro cameras use a FAT32 file system (or exFAT) =
which has a file size limit of 4GB. If you set your resolution high then =
you reach 4GB sooner. No big deal, and it's actually a pretty good idea =
for longer videos anyway-if a file gets corrupted it doesn't kill the =
whole video.=20
