[Fot] TR4 Steering Rack Rebuild Question

I have torn down my original steering rack to ensure all things are in good 
shape and ready to race again. The rack takes 3.25 turns from stop to stop. The 
question I have is; can you increase the pinion gear tooth count to quicken the 
ratio? Is this advisable and where can you get a new pinion gear?
