Yes, one of the layout I saw several years ago was on a rooftop parking garage
with a light standard in the middle and concrete walls on the sides. The
layout barely fit in the parking lot.

In an ideal world, that would be true, but we all know that it is the track
surface as well as the layout that needs to be the same. So one track that
has asphalt with gravel that comes up on every run would produce slower times
than a good textured concrete.

JCNA use the same layout for all their slaloms and that way you can compete
nationally from your own location, only the track conditions change.
