I was racing there last weekend in the Spitfire, the crash occurred in front of my paddock, at the base of the down hill. The car put a wheel off, pulled back on track, became very unstable and rolled a few times, coming to rest on the roll hoop pinning the driver. He was thrown half way out of the car during the roll. A full cage would have made the crash survivable. A full harness, arm restraints and HANS, with his roll hoop would probably made the out come much better. mike G.
