Can't answer the idle adjustment issue but I would say that the needle
and seat valve at the float needs replacement. Just had the same issue
with a 40 DCOE Weber. The needle valve comes in the standard rebuild
kit so it must be a regular replacement issue. Use a 175 which is good
up to 300 H.P.
Fuel pressure may be a little high. Pierce Manifold recommends 11/2 -
2 lbs. max pressure for side draft Webers.
