After having terrible trouble with the TR-250 crank (also the TR-6) I had
the crankshaft analyzed by a company group of dedicated research engineers
(not cheap either) and there very long written analysis was that
nitridingALONE would improve the crankshaft 50%. AND, it did. It has
not been a hard
sell to me ever since.

*Never be beaten by equipment.*
