Glen, Yup, we've done that, too, and it works. Yet, we'd like to take a step further. Greg Solow interjects some thoughtful observations that may be incorporated into the design, eventually.. Keep the comments and interest coming....we have about 8 responses in about 4 hours. There must be an interest. There seems to be an opportunity to relieve some stresses from the gearbox....stresses that have been known to crack bellhousings. Stresses that might not be very good for the gearbox internals, either. Time to think outside the GEARBOX, as it were. Joe Alexander A. R. This is pretty much SOP, easy to do, and works great.
