I was told if you could pull 5in. you could expect up to 4HP per cylinder. Some racers run so much vacuum they have to reverse the seals to prevent air from being pulled into the block. One of our local speed shops has a GM, electric vacuum pump from a cobalt or something they say will pull between 5 & 8 in. They want $ 300.00 for it.
