Subject: [Fot] TR 4A or TR250 Body Tub Needed
groups
I'm in the process of what was suppose to be finishing a restoration on
a TR250 basket case for a club member.
In the process of peeling back the skin B on this thing, I have
discovered the horrors of incompetence and ignorance.
Because the previous owners had no clue as how do body work, at least a
2-3 thousand dollars in sheet metal needs to be replaced.
everything from the b posts back and B left front corner needs to be
replaced.
I'm trying B to save this car and save the owner some money in the
process because it is a TR250 and fairly rare.
I have the floors and rocker panels since most of these cars regardless
of condition need these replaced anyways.
The outer skin is OK as well as the doors.
If any of you have or know of a decent boy tub out there or could put
your feelers out I would appreciate it.
I'm located in Southeast Michigan and will travel within a reasonable
distance to pick it up.
Thanks in advance
Glenn Franco
