and don't forget...if you are looking at used engines the small crank ones
will amost definately be missing thrust washers and been run that way for 4000
miles.

And once you've identified the smaller front pulley nut, you can
separate the 1296s from the 1147s by looking at the head. B The 1147s
have the siamesed intake ports and have an odd number of head studs (11
vs 10?)
