>From time to time you hear about a gear crush with cams and distributor
drive gear.
Is there found any reason why this happens?
If you look on these worn gears you see only one side of the cam gear teeth
are worn out the opposite side is in most cases okay.
Does this come from eccentric gear wheel?
Or is the distributor gear not in the right position (height) to fit the cam
gear?
The workshop manual has no hind to adjust the hight of the distributor gear.
Any ideas?
