Mark,

I for one hope they let current spec cars participate. Every vintage race
organization has its rules for regular participants and its own level of
tolerance for special runs groups. In the past the FoT has done a good job
of twisting the arms of event organizers and we have even been allowed to
have current spec SCCA cars run as an exception in a few cases. At some
point in the near future this issue will be clarified for this event. Most
of us love to have the modern Triumphs show up and run with us, but other
than the Brit's coming to Mid Ohio, there has been a lot more talking about
modern Triumphs coming than actual cars in attendance. Sam brought his TR6
last year and to the Glen two years ago and it was a treat.

Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch
excellence.
