I'll second the Toyo choice, they are real grippy & soft but last and best
of all they are a good rain tire.

I would also still recomend the Hoosiers Street T.D's for that car. As a
Rookie in my GT6 I felt great with the stick they provide. I never had a
problem with grip but did chew up my first set in two weekends. Dropping the
pressure about 3 pounds all around made them last longer I have run my
current set for 4 race weekends and they still have life left. All that
being said the Toyos are a better buget choice... some of the guys I race
with have 30+ races on them. If cost is an important factor, the Toyos will
deffinately be better. If not, recomend the Hoosiers with about 3 pounds
less than you run. (for the learning phase) I Love the feel of the Hoosiers.
