My car had the vents installed sometime in 1964/65 and a couple of years ago
we ran both an unvented TR4 race car plus the Sebring car with the vents
installed. Under hood temperatures are only very marginally lower in the
vented car (it helps much more in a car with little space under the hood
like the Big Healey) but they look cool.
