I always thought that the shock could not do much to control squat due to
the length of time the downward pull is sustained during acceleration.  I
figured any setting that was stiff enough to control the squat would be rock
solid on a quick bump.  I can see a stiff compression setting making it take
a wee bit longer to pull the back end down but I can't quite imagine it
lessening the amount of squat.  I would love to be proven wrong because my
car has the same problem.
