So I finally get AOL to once again remove the block on Team.Net.
And what do I find in my list admin mailbox? Why, six messages
from AOL reporting Team.Net emails as abuse. And THREE of
them are from some brain dead scumbag on the FOT list! Sheesh.
And in AOL's infinite wisdom, these abuse reports remove the list
name and the complainer's name, so the reports look like this:
Feedback-Type: abuse
User-Agent: AOL SComp
Version: 0.1
Received-Date: Tue, 18 Aug 2009 10:13:56 -0400
Source-IP: 166.70.156.34

Redacted-Address: redacted@

So all AOL is willing to provide is the info that someone on some list
doesn't like getting
email from Team.Net. Real helpful, isn't it. I am getting quite tired
of wasting my time
dealing with AOL. Maybe I'll institute a policy that any AOL subscriber
who wants on
a Team.Net list pays me $25 in advance to make it worth my while.
Sorry for the morning rant, but sometimes my patience wears thin.
