FYI - Just booked a room at the Jantzen Beach Red Lion
redlion.rdln.com and got a great deal on-line. $129 room for $77!
It's on the Columbia River about 3 miles from the track. I haven't
stayed there since the '80s but it was quite the place then and has
gone thru a recent remodel. Before booking on-line I called and they
said there are plenty of rooms still available but going quick with
this deal. Pet friendly too - Barley just isn't satisfied if he
doesn't get a nice sofa!
