It's not drilled yet but it will be this time. Any idea what size to drill it
out to ?

Is the oil passage to the center main enlarged? B It's got to feed two
rods, whereas the end mains feed only one.

Greg,
I have decided to go with the H beam rods mentioned in yesterday's post
from
Ireland Engineering.
They are just like the Carillo's. They are for a TR4.
I still can't figure out why # 3 rod would quit oiling other than a
contaminant in an oil passage.

Jim,
Sorry I don't know, but what car is this for? B I run Chevy rods in a
TR3
motor. B I can tell you, they are bullet proof, but there is some
complication on the piston guided rod setup I am using. B I do not weld
up the rod as you suggest.

Greetings FoT
I spun my # 3 rod bearing last weekend and my crank is already at .040
under.
It turned the rod blue so it's toast. I know it's been discussed before
but I think
it may be time to weld the crank and go to Chevy rods.
Any advice for the conversion ?
Again, thankfull for your advice,
Jim G.
