As far as Im aware the Dunlop rear discs were only used by the factory on
works Le Mans race cars, starting with the TR2, then TR3S and then the TR4S
'Sabrina' cars ....
Rumour has it that the assemblies were physically transferred from old cars
to new, so that when the old cars were sold on by the Factory, which was
their common practice, they left without a lot of the goodies on board. This
probably because Ken Richardson had so little money to play with.
Im not sure on homologation, but if a car ran in the 24 Hour Le Mans race,
wouldnt a similar car be able to run similar discs on the back ? ie. a TR2
or TR3 ?
