Yup. Had the same problem. One of the wires has come adrift and is
separating when the motor is hot. Probably the stator wire, but I'm
not sure. You can take it apart and solder it, but you might be better
off sending it back to whoever made it for repair. If you do decide to
repair it yourself, use a high silver content solder and a good high-
wattage soldering gun. The softer 60/40 solder won't stand up as well.
