[Fot] ARCA cars

And now...something completely different:

I watched on Speed Channel  the Arca cars.
I am wondering about why these cars have a high tail?
Is there a reason for this?
Never saw this before on race cars. Most touring cars in Europe have very
short compact tails.

Any idea?
